I do know the process . For me the debate is not about levels directly after birth....The question remains the same
How much lactoferrin is in an average litre of milk to the consumer?
Taking into account of breed...and diet ....as you say grass fed would be lower than grain and silage combination plus grazing
Plus you would have the variables of grass...Clover..... rye.. Soil condition, Fertiliser history etc etc.
As for milk price and who sets it . I see Fonterra has an opening price of $6.55 Per kilo of milk solids for next season.
Have not heard of other offers as of yet.
The dairy code that came into effect in january 2020
ACCC Deputy chairman Mick Keogh said the opening price deadline gave farmers time to compare prices and contract terms
1st of june is the deadline for publishing milk supply agreements
