Selmax, do you beieve the charting software will make a significant diffence to your success rate? I must do something to alter my averages - too many losses and not enough profits is the problem--and if bought today/ tomorrow, becomes a tax deduction for this year. Daytraders What is the best charting program to use?
I usually look at market depth, volume, MACD, Williams %, candlesick charts and then take random stabs based on a policy of "that looks alright"- it is usually at the end of a run and then I sit and watch the retrace - not a recipe for successful trading as I have proven to myself, quite comrehensively and consistently over time. I am set up with two screens - desk top and laptop - so goodness knows I should be able to see something happening to take avantage of. Thanks in advance for all your input, advice and suggestions.
Also, I trade currencies from time to time- any suggestions there? I trade through Etrade and IGMarkets. Is Etrade pro or Power etrade better? What about Comsec? or others? My psychologist has already advised aversive therapy to stop me trading at all- EVER !!!(joke). poppi
