I think it's disgusting that the big institutions who picked up stock through the book build at $4.20 have now sold down their holdings at market price. Once this oversupply of shares and the issue are out of the way Qantas will head back to where it came - between $4.60 and $4.80. Qantas should look at the main sellers of stock in the market and give them less allocations for their next issue, but the truth is nothing will happen. The problem is there are large overseas institutions that would love to take a holding in qantas but can't because of the foreign restrictions. in the meantime the simpleminded shortterm aussie institutions will bleed the share price for a couple of lousy bucks.
