Yes. I thought interesting too, and worth a google on Spanish born J Carlos Jarillo. He and partner Walter Scherk's started their Long Term Investment Fund (Swiss based) it seems in 2000 - with SIA being an acronym I guess for Strategic Investors Adviser Group.

One apt 2008 quote from Carlos Jarillo on his strategy (link below) is... "We look for companies that are undervalued because investors misunderstood them." The article is also aptly entitled "Going against the crowd can be profitable".
