I know preferences are not mandatory but surely you would think those ALP people who apparently changed the result of the election by voting for the Turnbull Independent( according to your excuse), who finished 5th by the way, would want to preference the ALP. What happened?? You can put as much spin as you like on the result but there is no doubt this election was a disaster for your ALP. A original margin of 2.6% has almost, but not quite, doubled.

For clarity fazz, I have been a Liberal voter ever since Keating was ousted, with the exception of the last Fed election wher I voted Labor in a blue ribbon a liberal seat.
