    Cheers K2High.

For Yak: Agreed, Howard is salivating over the kill.
But it's only one issue, and the Kirribilli prostitute is not as well liked by ordinary Australian's as you think.
With regard to the unions, they might do some unsavoury things at times, but you can always count on them to stand up Australian citizens first and international big business second.

I mean - hasn't Labor learnt their political lesson yet? How difficult would it be for Labor to just say NO to the FTA. I can envisage a huge media campaign, full of nationalist rhetoric - TV interviews with sugar farmers, actors, pharamceutical using pensioners, small businesses in regional agricultural towns undercut US competition etc etc All it takes is a good PR/media manager to put it together. Votes to be had.
If Howard can consistently bend the truth, then maybe Labor should try a bit of it?
