nothing wrong with final product, every magnetite deposit can get that sort of grading and more. Its the cost of the benefication of the ore that's a problem. Higher the grade usually the less it costs. Iron duke is a magnetite deposit close to 30 per cent grade. Its slurry pumped to whyalla and used in the furnace because other ores from iron baron, iron knob, iron monarch, are high quality dso 68% grade are used. Basic benefication work is used on the duke ore pre slurrying to take out impurities
