There's not actually a big push from shorters. The number of shorters is actually quite small.
We keep seeing the bulls post about how the shorters are nervous and will need to cover, causing a rally, then the price goes down.
If shorters actually were nervous, they'd be out now. Their opportunity would have come. There weren't many anyway.
This thing is going down because management keeps making empty promises and squandering company funds literally on themselves and will soon be asking for more, with no sign of being cashflow positive. That's your reason. Not downrampers, not shorters, just a lack of people keen to buy, being outnumbered by people wanting to exit a trash stock. Empty promises aren't as effective as before.
