Centralised into the hands of a corporate oligarchy, with not even the pretense of democracy. I don't understand the link to mining that posters kept bringing up, unless it is all the big corporations who want to use bitcoin as currency, their currency. In other words they shove the state out of the way and take over the role, levying taxes and charges on citizens.
