One of the things that has intrigued me is the lack of support (some might call it collusion) that the various REIT's have shown each other.

Without question they are all in together as their plummeting share prices have demonstrated. Why not get say the (former) top 20 REIT CEO's together and issue a joint collaborative statement requesting support not usury?

The letter could also make not too fine a point of emphasising the extent of the consolidated exposure (and therefore profit that they to date not defaulted on) to the Australian Banking system.
