For the geologists out there,
The Triassic is a geologic period and system which spans 50.6 million years from the end of the Permian Period 251.902 million years ago, to the beginning of the Jurassic Period.
so this well stopped whilst still drilling in the Triassic sediment. It stopped short before reaching Permian sediment. The coals could had been encountered deeper to 1000m still in the coal seam gas window.
would had liked to had seen this hole drilled to that 1000m base level.
