Investment in AGR Limited/Centerra Gold Inc
During the June quarter, Central Asia Gold Limited (�gCGX�h, �gthe Company�h) agreed
to accept a takeover offer by Centerra Gold Inc (�gCenterra�h) for its interest in AGR
Limited. The Company received Centerra shares in consideration for accepting the
offer. CGX subsequently agreed to sell those shares pursuant to the Underwriting
Agreement entered into by Centerra (as part of its initial public offering). CGX
received 3,833,927 Centerra shares which were sold at C$15.50 per share.
(Centerra shares last traded at C$14.40 per share).
The transaction was settled in early July, with proceeds received of approximately C$59.4M (AUD$63.7M), before
underwriting fees.

This represented a book profit of AUD$15.9M, before underwritingfees and costs.
