Thanks Red2 - interesting to hear the take on the IRR and how the increase futures would effect calculations. Posters may recall dan ash suggesting that IRR were done by nervous accountants and real gasers would look through it to see the real value, just as you have suggested.
I have heard Devon were a keen suiter and lets hope a few bidders eventuate and GS can extract more out of Marion than your highlighted inept attempts by the directors.
