They don’t have to give an explanation they can basically put anything they want in the quarterly report as regards funding as it is nothing more than a hope / dream ( aspirational forward looking statements) is the correct terminology.
There are also disclaimers attached to these reports.
I have been around the Stockmarket long enough to believe very little of what companies feed to the market and particularly small mining companies that have spent years living off cap raisings and the hard earned of the shareholders.
