Yep I was more questioning what infrastructure would be required to charge the batteries. I once saw a electric bobcat demonstration, which had a run time of about an hour then it had to be charged. The only charger they had available was a big diesel generator that had to run for 8 hours. Doesnt really stack up without the infrastructure there to charge the batteries more efficiently then it would be to a typical diesel engine. I understand mining has plenty of health and safety issues that would be solved by using EV instead of ICE . Theoretically a Li-S battery would mean you need only a third of the current Li-ion batteries and power generation capacity but it would still be huge.
