Yes seems passive energy storage might be a place for it.So it’s looking to compete/ compliment with VRFB’s It’d seem.
All good for reducing the cost of electricity which works well for BEV take up and so companies like Talga!

So going with the cost theme- the cheapest way( constantly falling) to now produce electricity is with renewables , and combined with battery storage- cheaper.
With scaling up of renewables, soon oil and gas production at any level will be too expensive to even produce, even if it’s subsidised.
Big customers like the auto industry know this so need to future proof. This takes a long time to pivot, redesign and adjust to change. They’re starting now, and once started can’t stop.
Collapsing margins in oil and gas, and the thermal coal industries will force the legacy trillions involved to seek their fortune elsewhere or face a slow ( maybe fast?) contraction.
Many supporting corrupt , disfunctional, and undemocratic regimes that have been around for decades.
At the same time new opportunistic industry startups emerge into these sectors propelled by access to power is cheaper ,more available ,sustainable and disconnects from legacy failings.
So maybe instead of a current term autocracy of energy we might be able to soon use a term democracy of energy.
