Would they not be also useful for lighter stronger slabs?
No. Concrete strength increases proportional the square of thickness. So even minor (5-10%) increases increases in thickness significantly increase strength.
Edencrete simply turns cheap weak concrete into expensive mediocre concrete. It doe not have significant benefits (even at high doses) if the mix is already strong. So it is not useful for high strength concrete mixes.
Fly ash is much stronger than cement. But is cures more slowly and is more brittle when used at very high rates. Anyway each to their own, we all wish it was selling crashloads of it but it isn't yet.
Because it is an expensive and impractical solution to non-existent problems. How hard is that to understand?
