Agree with @ADC91 on this case - if an acquirer buys out another company they will buy all assets and liabilities and will therefore assume responsibility for any contraventions of the previous owners (they acquire all assets and liabilities). This case would have been known for a while now so I'm sure it was baked into the acquisition price. IMO i think even with this case ME Bank represents a good buy for BOQ due to the new customer base but only time will tell.
