It is interesting to see the number of non-holders coming out to downramp VPG over the last 2 days.

JMHO I will go with those that put their money where their mouth is... Orbis Investment Management.

Valad safe in Bank of Scotland deal

SIMON Marais, the largest investor in Valad Property Group, said yesterday the Sydney-based highly-geared company would now survive, following a deal with the Bank of Scotland.

Mr Marais, whose fund management company Orbis Investment Management (Australia) recently lifted his stake in Valad, said the deal would "ringfence" Valad's risks in Europe.
