Check on your account with your CHESS sponsor ( eg Commsec). The quantity should have increased.
Alternatively log onto your Computershare account (or use your HIN) and check it.
You have to have your bank details in Computershare up to date to receive any scale back refund. I applied for $30k and my Commsec shows what I got. It was scaled back a little. I don't know if your $5k application would have been scaled back.
