Exactly my situation; already having to pay high income tax so not worth the capital gains tax if it isn't discounted by at least a 12 month hold.
I don't hate the momentum traders they just approach this differently, and LRS is now a legitimately great long term stock, so with enough time the taxed percentage of total earnings is probably gonna be much lower than a day trading approach, especially with a holding size above 4mil.
