Have any feasibility studies been done about building the refinery at the mine site itself? Or is that a stupid question?

Plenty of power from solar.

Water is going to have to be from a recycling plant in Darwin anyway so bring that all in in one go.

Staff? Biggest problem I guess.

Just seems dumb shipping so much ore to Darwin, processing it, then shipping 90% of it back again.

I might be too hungover to make sense. Just a left field idea.

I can see it taking years to resolve in the NT. Probably quicker to get it through in any other state / country now.
