No surprise here. I've been saying for ages (in response to one negative poster that kept referring to the falling birthrate) that China will take steps to increase birthrates. This is but the first. Next I am expecting some kind of additional birth subsidy / payment. Somethng that makes it easier for parents to look after newborns and to ease woemn back into their careers.
