They state them as 'downhole thickness' and add a Cautionary Note stating 'not true thickness.' It's there for all to read. Most explorers tend to throw out announcements that way, and why not? The whole idea is to make your assay results sound as exciting as possible, particularly with the day-trader-grabbing word BONANZA in the headline. That word is like a magnet to the DTs.
