Arsenic often is a pathfinder fo Au. Think: Carlin (Nevada) and South Africa.
The deep drilling in search of an orebody. Think: how deep the South African Au mines plumb, and are still economical.
It's not impossible that DEG is onto something scary big. Think: Super Pit meet super deep.

PS An excellent signal of Buy more, hold, or sell an equity one owns is to look at its presentation, etc. and ask yourself, "Would I BUY this now?"
PPS I seem to have a vague memory that when Earth was a single super continent part of Oz was ripped from southern Africa... did Oz take the gold-arsenic goldfields with them? (Oh, that is way too greedy.)
