    i guess people misunderstood what i meant...
    i think there's some chance that the shorter(s) are the holders behind these bank nominees (or maybe other big holders), so they don't care much if price bounces back. i would do the same if i had 5m shares in hand
    if they succeeded, they get profit from shorting, still hold the shares and they know price would go back eventually ( or they can make it)
    if they failed, they can close their positions with the shares they have, low risk
    no idea if that's allowed in ASX, but the logic should be correct
