Crean, Worsely, Hurley etc. are further south but high on the Fox's get-to list so their time will come, hopefully sooner than later. But this particular move, to send one rig 2kms south to drill an area with rock geochemistry found to be IDENTICAL to Mawson? Tactically outstanding. Of course, (if) they hit massives LEG's SP packs its bags for the next postcode. But even more fascinating, is to imagine the takeover jockeying that would be instantly ignited if a resource footprint of Mawson's scale dramatically increases, or potentially even doubles in a very short space of time.

Think of the cost-benefit production synergies that could only be made possible by having two Mawson's operating shoulder to shoulder.

And the not insignificant factor of hitting back-to-back bullseyes in an area of ~20km2. What sort of premium would that allow management to place on the remaining 3,000km2 worth of LEG tenements that would be lying slap bang in the middle of a suddenly exploding Fraser Range? BHP, Twiggy, Vale, et al would be salivating to put it mildly. And is there anything more attractive to a shareholder than a queue of potential suitors drooling at the window? Nope. "Gentlemen, start... your... chequebooks."
