What is wrong with LYC getting a deal for 49% of the company?
Whilst Lynas argue that the 51% is for borrowing approval, I struggle to think that 2% would make a serious difference, certainly if the pressure was on it could be sold.

Curtis has dug a hole here and he needs to be able to dig everyone out. 51% was always going to be a hard sell for many reasons. Remember that shareholders voting is only on those votes that get cast.. many wont vote and there will be a lot of pressure from both sides.. assuming Feds let it thru.. even with ARU it was no walk in the park.

But certainly dont debase an argument by saying there is only one reason holders hold.. there are multitudes.
