To be fair, it's not homophobic to suggest two like-minded people should indulge in a consensual sexual encounter, even if you assume they are men (are they?).* The colloquial phrase "get a room" springs to mind.

But I agree that the discussion is not progressed by such comments. Nor is it progressed by comments such as most of those by @harvett , however - notice that he/she doesn't engage with the knowledgeable posters here, being merely "more than happy to jump back in and stir the pot."
