If Shell don't come into the project - another major will! There are not enough safe places to drill that close to Europe and outside the middle east. (It's easier to bribe an African Leader rather than deal with an intellectually bent moslem or a communist like in Venezuela). If Shell pullout it's probably time to buy more shares at a lower price. The oil price will be higher when the project starts producing. It takes a couple of years of planning for that to occur from a deep water project.
