I agree with @kpool and @Ricmond88 ; EOS can't afford to lose control of Spacelink. With spacelink EOS can offer integrated, secure government and military command and control centre (CCC) capabilities on all scales from local to global. That puts EOS in the very top tier of government and defence competitors. Without Spacelink the customer has to provide their own secure communications infrastructure for any scale greater than local, and EOS would have to develop the interfaces to use it. So without Spacelink EOS is relegated to a much lower level and would knock out many potential customers who don't have their own regional or global communications infrastructure.
