horizontal drilling at snatcher, page-15

Hi Squidgy,
Am reading your excellent post on horizontal drilling whilst watching a very absorbing Wimbledon Final. Am back in NZ and wide awake due to jet lag.

A couple of small queries. I am no geoligist but couldnt understand your comment about the drill bit going down vertically and then turning 180 degrees. was this a typo? Did you mean 90 degrees?
Also , say for instance the Charo wells and the Snatcher wells turn out to be all in a reasonably straight line,( and free of water ) then would it be a good idea to drill a horizontal well along the supposed channel?
