Good article on the potential USD debasement, inflation acceleration, the XAU-Gold ratio. Take particular notice of the sequence of runners in a gold bull market - producer/junior/total speccies. This combined with the BIS rules (gold) vis-a-vis international banks post 28/6/21 suggest a multiple of headwinds for gold companies.
So some will have laid their bets already and some will later. The key is to pick the right horses because sometimes the market rewards dogs and punishes the good boys - that frustrates market participants but that is how things happen. You would think at this stage of the cycle given the groundwork that has been in place that TNR are at a reasonable position in the race. I think that now only management can draw defeat from the hands of victory - they will only get one chance if this bull run in gold eventuates. The potential exists for TNR. On another score surely an equity market corrction (large) is overdue in the US - how would that event play out on gold given existent headwinds? Any ideas?
