What a CEO says in company announcements about how excited he is, is pretty much meaningless. I've held mining stocks where the CEO's have appeared out of the blue and shown their excitement just prior to the company going into administration.
I hold no meaning whatsoever in how CEOs with vested interests in their companies say how they feel about the company.
