my internet is so slow, page-6

I have been having major problems for over a week. top speed on my 1.54mb connection is around 250kb and I am very close to moving ISP's. It seems there are some new DSLAMs being rolled out in many exchanges but the ISP's are keeping mum on who is being moved over to them. My problems started when my land line was 'switched off' (no dial tone) for half an hour.
