James54738Are you talking about Mudrick Capital? it was the company who bought 8.5 million shares off AMC and sold for a profit, they should have waited the next day because the share price doubled lol.biggrin.png

Mudrick Capital has helped AMC in the past and gave them a $100million loan.

Reddit does despise huge shorting hedge companies. They also like to save the little man, ie: David v Goliath.
Its a bit like the occupy Wall St movement.smile.png

People do care about financial revolution and hate the red tape, corruption and manipulation that is seen in multi national companies.

Z1p is kind of doing the same thing, they are going against normal lending practices that the banks implement.

People can be rich and also take a swipe at large hedge funds, why should hedgies rule the financial world?mad.png

Hedge funds have huge govt and financial support and backing and power to always win, whereas the retail investor is an individual and the only way they can win against these multi national shorters etc is to come together as a group and take them on.

If huge hedgies can short the hell out of a company, than why can't individual retail investors go long and buy up shares in the same company?smile.png
    What is the difference?

    Its people power!!smile.png

Do you work for a hedge company James?sneaky.png
