ASB is not talking aircraft carriers, destroyers etc but fast reaction littoral craft and ability to move troops and equipment as well as providing coastal and maritime surveillance.
I see these craft as built for purpose both for Australia, US and other Pacific, East and South East Asian countries including Indonesia in addition to the need for fast commercial craft i.e. ferries.
