My AstraZenica experience.
With the new Indian variant, I decided it was time for vaccination.
- I had the jab which stung during the injection.
-The rest of the afternoon was perfect & I went to work.
- However I then had a sleepless night with my body shivering (unrelated to room temperature - more similar to a drug overdose). This is a very common experience so I guess it's to be expected at some level.
- Next day I was wiped out with fatigue & weakness with a continual headache unrelieved by 5 Panadol Rapids.
- The following days & nights were back to normal with a slight swelling and tenderness at the injection sight.
Overall not a problem & I definitely recommend everyone get the shots as we Australians can't yet fully relate to the horror of this virus as other countries have.
Can't wait for an antiviral to be invented.
