I thought that is the Job of "Hedge Funds".

It remind me a "ANZ Grindley" Saga in 1991. ANZ branch in India lended massive money(over night: basically Hedged Fund Broker).

Unfortunately market got closed for three days due to Uniion Strike and bankers wanted money bank.

It was too much money locked in Exchange without trade. Eventually ANZ lost massively(ANZ Grindleys) so did all those who were locked in those trades.
