No Government or low Government intervention is a myth. The system doesn’t work without Government involvement. Two major events have proven it. One caused by the same people who set the system up in the first place, American economists of the greedy type. Shock, horror! And still they have politicians believing their mythical shit.

One thing I do believe though, and this is unfortunate, both sides are infected by the same issue as in the US.

A party (LNP/ALP) needs to recognise the two above events and do something. We can’t go on like this. Banks and big business are ensuring politicians are in check with bribes (legal ones mostly - but bribes all the same). I think ALP are favourites but not the current set. LNP are too corrupted.

Joe Public always follow the money and success, no matter how it is achieved, they are easily manipulated and it shows on forums such as this.

Unfortunately with this system they are following the success of few to their own detriment. Clever propaganda, the German minister for propaganda during WW2 would be proud.
