One item that has not been mentioned is the Ministerial powers to assign mining leases to the best interest of WA. No doubt, the Mine Minister would favour MMX in lieu of its association with giants like POSCO and Mitsubishi and the fact that the consortium won the infrastructure project. Moreover, it is the new mgt and shareholders of MMX that added value to Jack Hill.

No matter what is said about forensic accounting, legal positions, etc, what counts is the political will to expedite the project for the best interest of WA - and that is through MMX.
