I hope they can turn back upwards soon!
I have been in a four week (longer?) battle of stockpiling and 'averaging' to offset the falls, day after day almost. Buy more, sell X on rise, to try to keep the total position above water... yo-yo'ing from just above water to somewhat under at times. (Trading AU and UK both). Though the last few days have taken my bank to a new negative low for them now, and whilst I still have faith they will rise (Do I still?) they are looking more disconcerting as each day goes by.

BUT... that is what tends to happen. Somehow things are Driven to what seem to be hopeless depths (by who? Dunno, but it happens!), and then the turn finally comes! No matter how long you wait and ride it out, that is how long it will be driven lower to break your will power. At least it seems that way... Wait 2 weeks and give up and sell out, and the turn comes then! Or wait 6 weeks, the turn never came at 2.5 weeks and comes in week 7 instead!

But I am sticking this RIO 'trading project' out INDEFINTELY. With the ongoing short trading to help offset the long position as best as it can along that way. And it better make it worth it by doing the $15+ I expect (tho my expectation is faltering a bit of late)!

These last two days have become a Capital BUY for RIO in my view. I wish I had been tied up in something else for the last few weeks and NOW be turning up for RIO! Oh well.. all too common in trading! You more often need to MAKE thing work, via mathematics and strategy - and painful duress along the way!
