yeah right, our glorious leaders will fix the problems, a bigger nanny state will protect us all. Nice delusions to have, anyway, garage sales are run more fairly than the stockmarket and surprisingly there's hardly any regulations for that, regulations just make sure the big boys are entrenched in the system and are protected from prosecution unless they go to far like Madoff and actually fall from grace and can't pay people back. Always too late and moral hazard is created by people thinking the govt is looking out for punters best interests so there becomes a lack of due diligence. Some of the companies on the stock exchange are equivalent to email scams from Nigeria or where ever. And they never catch them until they fall and dont have the money to pay back. Waste of tax money paying for regulators who cant even spot manipulation when it's in front of their own eyes.
