Super impressive results from CHN today and it's the news us DEV holders wanted to hear - confirmation that ground gravity data and soil geochem indicates the presence of a largely continuous gravity high extending over >26km of the Julimar strike, coincident with the magnetic high of the Julimar Complex.
So basically confirmation that this PGE system is huge and not a one-off with Gonneville.
What is very exciting is the new target "Drummond"... which sits at the very north of the Julimar complex... just south of DEV's Sovereign Project. This will surely capture the markets attention for DEV.
Prior to today's announcement I have been reflecting on the fact CHN still have not found the "feeder" zone for the Julimar complex. This is the zone where, basically, the minerals have emerged from deep down and formed intrusions over along the various sutures and structures... which comes back to the whole West Yilgarn theory. Feeder zones are super rich with all the minerals... its literally hitting the jackpot.
CHN feel they have possibly found the "feeder zones" in the Hartog and Drummond targets, located respectively towards the southern and northern end of the Complex... they show the strongest gravity highs – which is interpreted to indicate the presence of larger volumes of mafic/ultramafic rock-types at depth. This type of response could be associated with feeder zones within the Complex, making these areas high priority drill targets.
Great for DEV as Sovereign Hill is potentially next door to the feeder zone of Drummond... or possibly... could Sovereign Hill be a Feeder Zone?
Let's put aside the fact that CHN is going to be huge - assuming they can fully access & drill in the State Forest. Today's announcement and the implications for DEV is massive.
Time to ramp up the drilling Brendan!
