I am really surprised that there have been no takeover overs put to NXS. Have just read an AWE investor presentation illustrating a large exploration program costing $200m. Using my “non-industry” logic, would it not make more sense to acquire/merge with an oiler that has reserves and apply cash to development rather than risky exploration drilling? Why are acquisitions when SPs are depressed not replacing exploration spending?
