Hey beachy, regarding the options, there are a many different types of options you can buy. The one you have bought (DDDOA) is called an exchange traded option. I think what you found is probably a Call option. Someone smarter than me can correct me though if I'm wrong!

They essentially behave exactly the same as a normal share - you can buy/sell etc. The differences are that the option has an expiry - (DDDOA - 31-May-2022) so if it gets to this date and you haven't sold or converted, they will disappear.

The process to convert is pretty simple - the company will send out a conversion form as the expiry date gets close - 1-2 months out. It will tell you the details. It's usually just a bank transfer. If you want to convert sooner, you can contact the company directly and they will send you the details. I'd imagine they would be quite responsive since they would be getting money in the door! Your broker might be able to organise this too (i don't exactly know - I'm just an gen-x/millenial who does things online only)

The option price will generally trail the share price based on the strike price of the option but there is usually a time based premium built in as well

In terms of option price unattractiveness, the primary reason to buy the options is for leverage (as CJTJ mentioned). As the share price gets higher, the option price will track it and the leverage advantage gets smaller at which point, the option holding risk may not outweigh the leverage advantage, although this is a personal risk profile choice

As a buyer of options at 0.002, the only things that matter to you are the expiry date and the current share price. At the expiry date, if the share price is under the strike price, you are better off just buying the shares directly. If the share price is above your 0.0064, then definitely worth converting. If it's in between, it becomes a harder choice
