FWIW I am finding (while sitting on the sidelines! so take it with a grain of salt) that holds of 1-3 weeks seemingly only working on longer term uptrend stocks (maybe a "ah, well derr" comment), anything that is sideways or downtrending the ranges are very short term, ie 1-3 days. Finding the solid uptrend stocks is the hard bit of course.
