Some short positions are bound to be hedging and they may be associated with opposite positions. I doubt there is much day trader activity but there is bound to be some traders taking a short term position allowing that it may take days instead of hours to get a good return. I'm buying a few at below the 8, wanting to sell 90% and keep the 10% as freebies. I love it when it happens during a day. but I'll wait a month if necessary. As I've said before I'm an investor that will make opportunistic trades.
