The use of terms such as ''birthing parent'' - regardless of whether they are surrogate or not is an indictment on the role of a woman as the gender that gives birth to our offspring. Only women can do this.
The use of terms such as birthing parent also diminishes the femininity of a woman's status in society - and that is far greater insult to womanhood than the misogynist waffle that conveniently abounds these days.

Maybe one of the solutions is to let kids be kids and stop trying to fill their tiny heads with all this birthing parent crap
