Calling someone a ''birthing parent'' is wrong on so many levels

A) If a surrogate - then she is certainly not a ''parent'' even if she gives birth
B) If she's a natural mother - then that is exactly what she is - a mother

The only reasons people are going off the rails

Say a woman gets raped, falls pregnant, doesn't want to be reminded of the rape but by her conscience doesn't want to have an abortion so decides to adopt the child out as soon as born. Does not want to be a parent or mother of the child to be reminded of the horrific experience?

This has been happening since day 1
Today - a woman has a choice - abort or keep the child or give it up for adoption
in the past they didn't - they bore the child and the consequences

Again for the upteenth time the term is not "birthing parent" it is "birthing person".
I would agree with you if the term is "birthing parent" but it is not, it is "birthing person".
The "person" being a woman who "does not wish to be the mother or the parent".
